Introduction of Multiport Selector Valve
Multiport Selector Valve (MSV) is a special kind of automation control valve used in oilfield production. MSV combines several wells (usually 4~18 wells) of oil pipeline together, and controlled by SCADA or local operation pick one of these wells to connect to test pipeline (normally Multiphase Flow Meter (MPFM)), while let other wells connect to group pipeline. Combined with MPFM, MSV realize the special function of group transportation and single well production testing. MSV is also often referred to multiway valve or Multiport Selector Manifold (MSM), or Multiport for short.
